1 juni t/m 27 juli, expo open vrijdag t/m zondag 13h.-17h. of op afsprraak

Gedurende de maanden juni en juli zal in de ruimte van kunstenaarsinitiatief Noordkaap in Dordrecht de tentoonstelling SuperLaTief te zien zijn met werken van Federico d’Orazio, Van den Ban & Zn, PIEK!, Arno Coenen, Dan Dryer en Tifoteam FC Dordrecht.

In SuperLaTief reageren kunstenaars op elementen uit de populaire cultuur, zoals vechtsport, bierdrinken, carpimpen, de straat, demolitioncar-racing, de sportschool, tifo sfeerakties, en genretelevisie. Het is een tentoonstelling over vechten.

"Dear Katja, dear Hans,

I had a great meeting and an exciting day with Christian Daghio at the 'Kombat Village'… already during the lunch in a small Italian restaurant two people were shot in the street in front of us…that is normal at daytime in Pattaya. Christian and the people at the village liked my plan for the project in Dordrecht. They explained me the story of the camp and more in general the Muay-Thai boxing tradition. The village is one of the most respectfull realities of Thai Boxing. 'Kombat Village' is visited all year through from people all over the world. Christian was just back from a tour in East Europe where he gave workshops and brought some students for a fighting tournament. He is the World Champ Muay-Thai Boxing '01 and in '02 he was the first Italian to fight and win at the legendary Lumpini Stadium in Bangkok. Christian is recently the 2007 Thai Boxing champion of Thailand (first European fighter to win this title)..."
